Special Events
 Catholic Student Center Ministries
sponsors Blast-Off Week each August to welcome students to the Gainesville Catholic
community and familiarize them with the activities available at St.
Augustine Church, The Catholic Student Center.
 Catholic
Awareness Week, each Spring semester highlights the student ministry groups of
the Student Center and provides an opportunity for continued spiritual
growth.
 Senior
BBQ is hosted each Spring, allowing the student community to
celebrate with the graduates. Toast to You,
an elegant wine and cheese gathering is also held in honor of the
graduates and then the grads are encouraged to invite their
family and friends to the Baccalaureate Mass
and Reception.

Coalition of Student Center Ministries
 A student coalition, comprised of leaders
from each of the student-led ministry groups, meets once a month to plan
events and programs that serve the students of University of Florida and
Santa Fe Community College. Catholic Student Center Ministries are
under the direction of two student Coalition Coordinators elected by
their peers in student leadership and affirmed by the entire student

CSCM Mission
As a registered student organization at the University of Florida and a member of the National Catholic Student Coalition, CSCM has several purposes:

 To provide opportunities for leadership, spiritual and personal
development
- To foster a supportive community
- To offer fellowship and service activities
- To strengthen the faith of Catholic students
- To serve as a point of collaboration for outreach to the student body as
a whole
Parents of Catholic Gators
Families of college students who are involved at
St. Augustine are invited to annual events and receive our quarterly newsletter.
When students register as parishioners their parents are
automatically added to our "Parents of Catholic Gators" mailing list. If you are
a parent and haven't received anything from us, please make sure your student
